Members of the Kaloleni based; St. James Parish, have threatened to break away from the Anglican Diocese of Mount Kilimanjaro and form their own diocese if their pleas for a new Bishop are not met.
The more than 1,000 members made their stand clear during their meeting with the National Anglican Archbishop Donald Mtetema recently at the St. James Parish in Kaloleni.

Archbishop Mtetema�s efforts to pledge with parish members for them to forgive Makundi bore no fruits as the over packed congregation drowned his voice with angry shouts.
The day was saved by Bishop Simon Chiwanga who stood up and called for a prayer which the entire parish gladly joined.
