Hi everyone. I arived in Arusha in 1953 or 54 with my family, parents Bryn and Pat, and brothers Geoff and Huw. Dad was Chaplain and master at Arusha School, and later became Headmaster after Cyril Hamshere. It was the most wonderful place to grow up in and I have the most fantastic memories of wide open places, climbing trees around the playing fields, riding the ponies, swimming, sports, Girl Guides. When I left to go to school in UK it was the most awful experience - there seemed to be no horizons there at all. It was interesting to read my entries in the School Magazine, and also to see names of old school mates. Hopefully some will also remember and maybe get in touch - I hope some of you will.
All best wishes - Eira
