Title: Looking to contact David HAMILTON
Post by: John HAYLOCK on 23 September, 2009, 15:43
I am doing some family history research and would like to contact David HAMILTON.
He made a forum post concerning his father Ronnie Hamilton extract ID 5658.

If anyone can give me his contact details  I would be most grateful.

hi John,

Sorry for the delay in getting in touch with you! I'm the culprit and my Dad was Ronnie Hamilton. Dad came to TZ from Burma the first time during the war (1943) when he was tasked with training the KAR troops in jungle warfare. He was billeted in the Arusha district and was so impressed that vowed he would return after hostilities ceased.

This he did in 1946 and started farming in Arusha with his partners Bill Crosskill and Gladys Ryden.

I'll leave it at that for now and give you a chance to get back to me John.

Best wishes,

David Hamilton

Hi David, My mother and father knew Bill Crosskill, Gladys Ryden and David Hamilton well in the good old Arusha Days.. Names Ted and Kay Ulyate.   We were in contact with Bill when he lived in South Africa.   Mum and Dad, both well into their 90's now live with me in the UK.

Kind regards
June (nee Ulyate)
