Nigel Perks .. is a 35-year-old New Zealander. Hooked on wildlife as a schoolboy, he headed for Africa with �185 in his pocket and ended up in the Serengeti. There, in 1988, he set up Gibb's Farm Safaris and has been guiding ever since.
